Who I Am

Hello! I’m Ting, an unstoppable force at the intersection of creativity, leadership, and innovation. With roots stretching from the vibrant landscapes of Yunnan to the bustling urban sprawl of Shanghai, and now making waves in the Greater Toronto Area, my journey is anything but ordinary.

I am the visionary behind Rice Slurp Restaurant, where we not only serve food but also cultivate community and sustainability. As the CEO, I've nurtured our spaces to be more than eateries—they are hubs of cultural exchange and innovation. My role as an Interior Architect at Dali Xinhui, Ltd. has allowed me to shape environments that inspire and engage, marrying form with function in ways that elevate everyday experiences.

In the digital realm, I co-founded Raw Cut Media, where we craft compelling narratives that resonate across continents. Whether it's through content planning, script writing, or on-site shooting, my goal is to connect stories with audiences in meaningful ways.

My academic background in Fine Arts from Cornish College of the Arts and my ongoing engagement with the AC's volunteer program at the University of Waterloo reflect my commitment to continuous learning and community service. From volunteering at the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Pandas to enhancing digital marketing strategies at the Waterloo Accelerator Centre, my adventures are guided by a passion for making a positive impact.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a passionate foodie and dog lover. I revel in exploring diverse cuisines and sharing adventures with my furry friends. I also advocate for a positive mindset, believing in "killing them with kindness" to eliminate negativity and build harmonious relationships.
